Children in Miss Riding's Class have continued their learning in Art in Nature. They were so shocked to discover that the -3 overnight temperatures had cracked all of the snail's shells out in the Forest School, that they decide to make them all a new one. We used clay to create the shape of the shell and small twigs to design and add patterns. The children did such a good job that there was plenty of time for a game of 'Run the Gauntlet'.
Our Forest School Queen was Lily Jackson and the Forest School King was Alfie Leyland. Both were chosen for their original ideas and interesting patterns on their snail shells.
