Pupils in Miss Duckworth's Class have been having fun with their problem-solving and teamwork challenges this week. They have been learning about how each member of a team has a role and what can happen if we don't all work together as a team. First, they had to take turns to guide their 'sheep' into the sheep pen, working in pairs with one child blindfolded. Miss Duckworth enjoyed being a 'sheep' but was relieved to finally reach the 'sheep pen'. After that they worked in teams to lower a 'helium stick' to the ground but got the 'giggles' when the 'helium sticks' kept rising! Finally, they had to work together and use verbal communication, to keep a ball on the large tarpaulin, as they moved around the Forest School.
Our Forest School King was Max Kendall and Abbi Moore was the Forest School Queen.
