Pupils from Y3/4W and Y4/5R have been developing their shelter building skills. First, we looked at different types of shelter and then the children worked in teams, to build their own shelter.
The challenge was to build a shelter was that was stable, waterproof, windproof, warm and large enough to fit four children inside. As you can see from the photos; each shelter was unique and though some looked a little more comfortable than others, they could all fit four children in.
Our Forest School King & Queen from Y3/4W were Connor Heys and Kyra Pohrebienyk and from Y4/5, the Forest School King was James Chapman and the Forest School Queen was Dolly Platt. All were chosen for being effective team members and for great listening skills.
