Pupils in Y3/4R have been developing their Teamwork and Problem-Solving skills out in the Forest School. First, they worked in pairs, taking turns to be the shepherd and guide their blindfolded 'sheep' to the sheep pen. Each shepherd had to make sure that their sheep was safe at all times. Then we had some fun with the 'helium sticks'. Every time we tried to lower them to the ground, they began to rise! We finished with a class challenge to keep the ball on the large tarpaulin, as we travelled across the Forest School. Unfortunately our 'Secret Saboteur' had other plans and forced the ball off the tarpaulin. We learned that every member of the team needs to work together to be successful.
Our Forest School King was Finleigh Sheekey and the Forest School Queen was Amelia Malik.
