Pupils in Y5R took on the 'Electric Fence' challenge whilst developing skills in Teamwork and Problem-Solving. First, they had to work together to find ways to get every member of their team over the electric fence without touching it. Then, the challenge was made more difficult, as some members of the team had to experience the task as a blind person or deaf person would. Finally, each team member had to stay connected to another member until all of their team had made it safely under the 'electric fence'. We finished the session with some 'Trust Falls' and discovered that some children were more trusting than others!
We had two Forest School Queens for this session. Lucy Schofield and Leah Maden-Gammack were chosen for their passion for the tasks and excellent teamwork skills.
