Pupils from Y4/5 made the most of the recent snowfall. They worked with their team to create a temporary 'feature' for the Forest School. One team built a car and the other team built a miniature ice skating rink, complete with miniature snowmen. Harvey Duckworth was the Forest School King, for his efforts to make a 'snow buggy' as an 'extra' feature, and Harriet Tighe was crowned as the Forest School Queen for 'thinking outside the box' with her willow 'fuel pump' for the car.
The children had to think tactically in order to outwit the 'Keeper of the Tunnel', in our game and they had time to make quite a few 'snow angels' too.
As you can see from the photos, we had lots of fun in the snow!
