LANCASHIRE SCHOOL GAMES
We were delighted when our School Games Organiser, Nathan Bibby rewarded our consistent use of School Games Values, by choosing our school to represent Rossendale in the Lancashire School Games. We travelled to Stanley Park in Blackpool, along with other Primary Schools, and some High Schools on the Rossendale Team Coach and took part in the Tag Rugby Festival, as part of the Games. It was a fantastic opportunity for our team to showcase their excellent School Games Values. Our children were rewarded for their hard work, when the Tag Rugby coaches chose our school to receive a special award in the closing ceremony, for Respect.
As you can see from the photos, we all enjoyed the experience and the 'Party in the Park' at the end of the day was one which our pupils (and Mrs Stocks) will remember for a long time!
