The Easter Story

We have been learning about the events of Holy Week. We have been talking about 'New Life' and looking for signs of new life around school. Miss Townley helped us to learn about the Easter Story. We think she enjoyed pretending to be Jesus!

The Easter Story by 1C

Jesus arrived in Jerusalem. The people welcomed him and waved palm leaves. Jesus had a special meal with his friends. Jesus was made to carry a heavy cross on his back. Some people shouted mean things to him. Jesus died on the cross. His body was put in a special tomb. Three days later the tomb was empty. The people were shocked. Jesus was alive! His friends were happy to see him.
