Busy Bees After School Childcare

BUSY BEES AFTER SCHOOL CLUB                                               

Busy Bees After School Club runs Monday to Friday until 5pm. 

 

Bookings for Busy Bees should be made in advance, preferably via the online booking system (School Money).  You will require a password and an email link which will be provided to you when your child starts school.  Bookings and payments must be made at least the day before attending the club.  Any late bookings made on the day incur an additional cost. 

 

You can also book and pay in person at the club (situated at the top end of the school, entry via the door on the carpark). Staff will be available to help with this from 3.15pm each day.  Again, bookings and payments must be made at least the day before attending the club.  Any late bookings made on the day incur an additional cost. 

 

Children MUST be collected by a responsible adult who has been identified to the Club Supervisors (Miss Edwards and Mrs Jones).

 

Busy Bees club rates are as follows:      

 

Attending to 4.30pm - £3.50 per session

Attending to 5pm - £4.50 per session

Late bookings made on the day - £6.00 per session *

 

Children collected later than 5pm will be charged £10 for the first 15 minutes and an additional £5 per 15 minutes per child thereafter to cover the cost of extra staffing and the Site Supervisor.

 

If you need to contact Busy Bees after school club in an emergency (eg to inform staff you will be late, that your child will not be attending or an alternative person will be picking up etc) please call 07593 507563 (this number is only available during club hours).

 

Children will be given a snack and a drink during the session, if your child has any allergies or dietary requirements please let the staff know.

 

During the club time children will engage in lots of activities, we make use of the whole school environment taking in the forest schools area, the gym, the hall, all of the playground areas for physical times, weather and availability taken into consideration.  We also enjoy quiet activities including board games, craft, cookery and group challenges.

 

 

* Please note late bookings made on the day cannot be booked online. 

 The club is available to children from Reception to Year 6.  Places can be booked in advance by booking online, booking through the school office, or calling into the club, situated in the Breakfast club room at the top end of the school - entry via the door in the car park.

Places must be booked and paid for at least 24 hours in advance, please have correct payment in an envelope clearly marked with your child's name, the day and times required.   Please note that bookings are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to future bookings should your child fail to attend.  

 

If late collection occurs on 3 occasions your child's allocated place will be reviewed.

 

PLEASE INFORM BUSY BEES IF YOUR CHILD IS NOT ATTENDING FOR ANY REASON WHEN THEY HAVE ATTENDED SCHOOL.

Whilst this is a 'fun' club, children will be expected to behave in  an acceptable manner and be respectful to staff members and other children.  Unacceptable behaviour will need to be discussed with parents and staff members to resolve the situation.
