Computing Ambassadors
Meet our Computing Ambassadors!
Who we are
We are the Computing ambassadors; a team of Year 6 pupils who have a love of computing. We are confident in our use of technology and in computing and we want to share it with others.
Our aims are:
- help pupils and staff to understand how to use technology
- to offer advice and support on how to keep yourself safe on-line
What we do
We have a lot of different responsibilities in our role as Computing Ambassadors including:
- supporting with technology in assemblies,
- leading online safety assemblies and internet safety workshops,
- helping keep the laptops and iPads organised and making sure they are looked after properly.
Safer Internet Day 2023
The Computing Ambassadors have been busy delivering online safety presentations in assembly to both KS1 and KS2.
The focus this year has been 'Talk About It!'
Ambassador led workshops
The Ambassadors have been delivering online safety workshops to our KS1 children where they have been encouraging them to consider who they would talk to and what they would say in a variety of situations. This has helped reinforce this year's Safer Internet focus 'Talk About It'.
