Y5/6 FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT
Our Y5/6 Football Team represented Thorn in the Rossendale Y5/6 Football Tournament. We travelled to The Valley Leadership Academy to take part in this competition, where we were extremely well supported by parents, family members and our top supporter, Mrs Stocks.
We were up against some tough opposition, but our team members showed determination and resilience throughout. Despite not winning any of our games, we were delighted when our name was read out as Winner of the School Games Respect Award, chosen by the Sports Leaders from The Valley Leadership Academy.
Well done Team Thorn! We are proud of you.
