Welcome to Year 1/2
Welcome to our class, we are excited to get to know all the children and begin our learning this year. Our class teacher is Mrs Johnson and supporting our class this year we have Miss Lord, Miss Butler and Miss Melvin. Currently in our class we have 29 children.
Homework will be sent home on a Friday. It is vital that homework is completed and brought into school on time. They will be given clear instructions but if they struggle, please encourage them to ask an adult in the classroom for help.
Autumn Term: FESTIVALS OF COLOUR
During the Autumn Term we had lots of exciting learning. We learnt all about India and even learnt how to Bollywood Dance.

In Year 1/2 we're becoming fantastic mathematicians. We have completed lots of exciting learning so far this year.

Science
During the Autumn Term we were learning about 'The Human Body'. We learnt all about the different parts of our body and how to keep our bodies clean and healthy. We also learnt about our senses and enjoyed tasting new foods and completing a smell activity where the children had to guess the different smells. The children really enjoyed this activity.
