UKS2 - ART IN NATURE - Y5S
Pupils in Class 5S have been busy in the Forest School, learning about different types of sculpture and creating their own sculptures using both natural and man-made materials. First, we built bridge and tower sculptures and then we focused on the work of sculptor, Andy Goldsworthy. We were inspired by his choice of materials, shapes, and also how he incorporates the existing landscape and features into his designs.
Our photos show our very own sculptors in action and celebrating their finished products with their team members. Congratulations to our Forest School Kings and Queens for 'Art in Nature' who were chosen for their passion, commitment and superb teamwork.
