Y3/4 GIRLS' FOOTBALL FINALS
After success at the group stage of the Girls Football Tournament, our team represented Thorn again, in the Finals. This was an amazing achievement in itself, as apart from one team member, this was their first experience of competitive football. We played three games, against Water, Helmshore and Tonacliffe. Each game was highly competitive and exciting to watch. We had great support from our parents and families who cheered the girls on throughout.
Despite losing our games, we won the School Games Values Award for 'Respect' for which we are extremely proud.
As you can see from the photos, our girls had so much fun and gained positive experiences from competition.
