Y5 CRICKET

Our Y5 Cricket Team went to The Valley Leadership Academy to take part in the Rossendale Y5 Cricket Tournament.

They played 2 matches in their group stage. We lost the first game by just 2 runs but won our second match against Crawshawbooth, to finish 3rd in the group.

Superb School Games Values (commented on by our umpire) were shown throughout both matches by Kyra Pohrebienyk, James Chapman, Ava Casey, Connor Heys, Alfie Stanisauskis, Musa Shafi (Captain), Amber Woodacre and Abigail Kay.

As you can see from the photos, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves... and so did Mrs Stocks!
