Y6 GIRLS' TABLE TENNIS TOURNAMENT
Y6 pupils, Maisie Race and Megan Jamieson represented Thorn at the Rossendale Girls' Table Tennis Tournament. The girls have been training with Miss Edwards since the start of the Spring Term and were thrilled to be taking part. Both girls played exceptionally well and were a credit to the school. After winning all of their games in the group stage, they both progressed to the Quarter-Finals. Maisie finished in joint 5th place overall and Megan won her Semi-Final and progressed to the Final. Again, she played with grit and determination to finish in 2nd place out of 36 players overall.
