Y6 BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT
Our Basketball Team played in the Rossendale Basketball Tournament. We played against St. Paul's 1 in our first game, narrowly losing by just 1 point, 7-8. The team played exceptionally well in the 2nd game against Stubbins 1, to win 11-3. Then we played St Paul's 2 and won 6-3. Our final game of the group round was against Stubbins 1, which we won again, 8-1.
We then progressed to the third place play-off and although the team were amazing, we lost by 2 points to finish 4th out of 10 teams overall.
Well done to Megan Jamieson, Harvey Duckworth, Maisie Race, Charlie Tillotson, Freya Heys and Oscar Munday (Captain). You all played with passion and showed us some super skills!
