Y6 CRICKET TOURNAMENT
Here's a report by Sports Reporters, Scarlet Collins and Keelan Melvin.
Rossendale Year 6 Cricket Tournament 15/6/22
This Cricket Tournament took place at Bacup Cricket Club. The weather was nice and hot!
There were 7 teams taking part and 2 of the teams were from Thorn.
We had a Blue Team - Anya, Bethany, Oliver, Josiah, Lucy D, Megan, Maisie and Logan.
And a Blue Team - Tahlia, Jack, Jayden, Nomagugu, Isabelle, Abbie, Maddie and Leighton.
Both teams played really well - the Pink Team finished in joint 4th place and the Blue Team finished in joint 3rd place.
We saw some great bowling, batting and fielding.
We were looking out for School Games Values, with help from our School Games Cat, Jasper.
