School Games Platinum Award!
We are proud to have maintained our School Games Platinum Award status since 2018, when we joined just 5% of primary school in England to have reached Platinum.
The Platinum Award was introduced in 2017 as the highest level of award, recognising High Quality P.E., Sports Leadership, Intra-School and Inter-School Competitions, promotion of School Games Values, Inclusion and Club Links. Our Sports Leaders have been invaluable in their contribution towards achieving this award for the academic year 2021-2022.
A huge thank you to Rossendale School Sports partnership and our SGO, Nathan Bibby, for his continued support. Credit to all of the children and Sports Leaders who have given 100% effort, to parents who have supported us with transport to competitions and with training and also to staff who have provided so many sporting opportunities for our children to be involved in.
