SPORTS SCHOOL OF THE YEAR

In October, we were delighted to win the title of 'Rossendale Sports School of the Year' for the 4th consecutive year. Our success then led us to the Lancashire Sports Awards, which was held at Preston Guild Hall. We were up against 10 Lancashire boroughs including, Blackpool, Preston, Blackburn and Burnley. Rossendale is such a small borough in comparison, so we were honoured to be given the award for 'Highly Commended' primary school.

This trophy will take pride of place in our cabinet and will represent all the hard work and dedication of both staff and pupils. We will build on this and continue to provide opportunities for our children to be successful and enjoy taking part in a wide range of sports and physical activities.
