Year 2 currently has 28 children aged 6-7. The class teacher is Mrs Worrall and she is supported by the T.A’s Miss Greenwood, Mrs Harris, Mrs Halshaw and Mrs Lee. Miss Hark and Miss Lord also work with the class in an afternoon.
PE days are Monday and Thursday. Please ensure full PE kit is in school.
Our spellings are given out on a Monday and will be tested on a Friday. Please ensure your child practises these during the week, on the sheet provided.
Homework will be given out on a Friday. This will either be a Literacy, Numeracy or a topic piece of work and will be linked to what has already been taught in class that week.
Home reading records will come home on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Please can you sign and comment when you have heard your child read.
