GIRLS' FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT
Our Girls' Football Team were amazing at the Rossendale School Girls' Football Tournament. They played 4 games against Stubbins, St. Mary's Rawtenstall, St. Peters and Edenfield. It was a pleasure to watch them play with passion, determination and respect. We finished in 3rd place but as you can see from the photos... when you've had fun, you've won!
Thank you to Haydn Goldsworthy for coaching the girls and to Y6 Sports Leader, Maisie Race for helping the team develop their goalkeeping skills.
Fantastic effort! Well done to Molly Thompson, Amber Woodacre (Captain), Ava Casey, Mia Walmsley, Abigail O'Toole, Leah Maden-Gammack, Elsie Middleton and our Goalkeeper for the tournament, Kyra Pohrebienyk.
