BOYS' TABLE TENNIS TOURNAMENT
Alfie Stanisauskis and James Chapman represented Thorn at the Rossendale Boys' Table Tennis Tournament. They each played 5 games in the first round of the competition.
James won 3 games, 11-7, 11-9, 11-5 and lost 2 games, 9-11 and 7-11, finishing 2nd in his group.
Alfie won 4 of his games, 11-9, 11-3, 11-4, 11-9 and lost just 1 game, 9-11, narrowly missing out on a place in the Quarter Finals.
Well done to both of you and a special thank you to Miss Edwards for coaching the boys to play some great table tennis.
