Welcome to Year 3

We are a happy and friendly class filled with smiley faces taught by Miss Duckworth and supported by teaching assistants Miss Noon, Miss Stokes and Mrs Holden  

We have PE on a Tuesday and a Wednesday and children are expected to bring their full PE kit on these days. 

Home reading books are expected in class every day and are checked weekly. Children love reading with and to their adult and your support in this is invaluable. Don't forget to fill in their reading record so they can get their team reading token each week! The children choose their own book from our exciting range of books in the book corner, including some brand new books. There are also some 'Miss Duckworth recommends' books linked to our class learning. 

Homework is given out every Friday and is expected to be back in by the following Friday. Homework club is on a Monday after school. 

On a Wednesday we are lucky enough to have ukulele lessons.

Ancient Worlds

We have been learning all things Roman this term and we are really enjoying this topic. So far we have made Roman shields, taken part in a Roman court case and we are going to be creating Roman busts in art. We will share some more pictures soon!

Festivals of Colour
