Y3/4 GIRLS' FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT
Our Y3/4 Girls' Football Team thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to represent Thorn in the Rossendale Y3/4 Girls' Football Tournament. All except one of our players, were playing for the first time and it was great that they had such positive experiences. We won our first game 2-0 and lost our other two games 0-1, finishing 3rd in our group.
We had great support from our parents and were delighted to win the School Games Values Award.
Special thank you to Year 5 pupil, Zach Kierans, who helped to coach the team and inspire the girls to play their very best football.
Well done 'Team Thorn', you were all a credit to the school!
